Published On: August 5th, 2025

LThe Spanish Cultural Routes Association—a tourism brand endorsed by Turespaña and the Secretariat of State for Tourism—as part of its “Crossroads» project, will hold a free training webinar on Wednesday, 10th and Thursday, 11th September 2025, aimed at public entities, organisations, and businesses in the tourism sector. The aim of this initiative is to foster cohesion among participating destinations, promote the training of tourism professionals, and implement technological tools that enhance the heritage and tourism appeal of the participating municipalities, especially the smaller ones with high cultural value.

This online training aims to transfer the best practices developed in the project to all populations belonging to Spain's Cultural Routes, including the training and development of new skills in tourism professionals. To achieve this, a series of webinars will be delivered for each route to transfer the best practices developed in the project to all populations belonging to Spain's Cultural Routes, including the training and development of new skills in tourism professionals. Therefore, in addition to general content, attendees will be trained in tourism development and new technologies to foster the future development of a network. This is an initiative financed by European Next Generation funds aimed at strengthening the country's network of cultural routes.

From Spanish Cultural Routes, all stakeholders in the tourism ecosystem are encouraged to participate in this strategic training that will mark the beginning of a new era for Spanish cultural tourism. The training will be delivered by expert Gersón Beltrán (Play&go Experience) and will cover everything from tourism trends and new technologies to promotion strategies and practical cases of tourism innovation.

Targeted at: public entities (destination technicians and managers, public representatives, etc.), tourism organisations and businesses (accommodation, restaurants, active tourism, tour guides, associations, etc.).
