Emerita Lvdica

What's included / What is it?

Military Reenactments, Scenes of Daily Life, Public Spectacles, Worship and Religion, Artisan Markets, Guided Tours, Catwalks, Chariot Races and Roman Costume Workshop.

Emerita Lvdica, a Festival of Regional Tourist Interest in Extremadura, bears this name with the aim of reviving the festive atmosphere that accompanied the celebration of games in the capital of Lusitania. We will be able to see scenes of daily Roman life that reflect the diversity and customs of Roman High Imperial society, bringing the city's archaeological remains back to life each year.
