An experience that combines prehistoric legacy, art, and nature. The rock shelter cannot be understood without its environment, which transports us to Prehistory. Valltorta Museum

What's included / What is it?

Levantine rock art museum and a visit to one or more rock art shelters.

Levantine rock art.
The Valltorta Museum is the only rock art museum in the Valencian territory. Its works are in the open air, but the permanent exhibition in the museum halls is also very interesting, taking you on a journey through the rock art manifestations of Prehistory in Valencian lands.
The Valltorta – Gassulla Cultural Park, where the Museum of the Valltorta is located, has seven rock art shelters that can be visited.
Daily excursions from the museum go to the Cova dels Cavalls, les Coves del Civil, and the Mas d’en Josep. Monthly visits are to les Coves de la Saltadora and the Abrigo Centelles.
In the Gassulla gorge, in the municipality of Ares del Maestrat, we visit Cova Remigia and El Cingle de la Mola Remígia every weekend and on public holidays, and we extend our visits during the holidays.
